Concepts Behind “Pre-Industrial” (Traditional) Woodworking!
The past decade has seen a renewed interest in “Pre-Industrial” or Traditional woodworking. This usually focuses on hand tools and often sidelines machine work and newer woodworking methods. But what did woodworking before the machine age look like? How did woodworkers think of their craft, their customers, and the things they made? How did they structure their work to make both simple and complex pieces?
Join us at the MWWG July meeting where Luke Clawson will dive into some of the concepts that informed how woodworkers of the past thought about themselves and their jobs!
SEE YOU THERE!!!! 🙂
