Friday for Hand Tool Happy Hour!

Woodworking hand tool user and collector Michael Toivonen will be the host of a hand tool happy hour at The Highland Woodshop on Friday January 24 between 5 & 8 pm. This event is open to the general public as well as Highland Woodshop members. We request a $10 donation from non members to help cover Highland’s overhead.

Between all the hand tools available at Highland, combined with those currently available for purchase new and the many that are no longer in production but that can be found on eBay and elsewhere it can feel a bit overwhelming. Hand Tool Happy Hour will be a casual get together where you can get a better sense of the range of handle tools and what they can do.

Besides bringing along tools from his collection to put through their paces Michael will be available to take your questions about hand tool use, maintenance, identification and history.
